She is also a professional cellist and orchestral musician. Ms. Murdock has performed as a student musician with the St. Paul Civic Symphony and the University of Wyoming Symphony (principal cellist). Professionally, she has performed with the Spokane Symphony, the Wyoming Symphony, and Powder River Symphony. Rebecca has been responsible for bringing many world class soloists as well as local professional soloists to perform with the FSO. As an adjunct faculty member of Central Wyoming College, she was awarded “Music Teacher of the Year” in 2000.
